Anyone that is Cali born and bred knows that once you travel outside the God given sunshine state of perfection, and tell someone your from California, you receive instant respect (and for good reason). People tend to associate California with Hollywood and fame... or rather, the hell hole of people with distorted lives. Yet, California natives know the reason we live here is for the impeccable weather conditions and the fact that you can enjoy a day at the beach, then strap your snowboard to your car and head east for the mountains. The rival of So Cal vs. Nor Cal prevails... and to each his own. Both state spectrums are equally magnificent; however, my favorite California city will forever be Santa Barbara. A city of spanish architecture, kick back friendly people, and a Mediterranean vibe.
